My practice moves between craft, illustration and material exploration, with a particular interest in colour, natural dyes, textiles and storytelling.
About Me
Through a developing language of craft, I create objects, installations and illustrations across textiles, painting, sculpture and photography. Working with natural dyes and tactile processes, I explore how colour and material can evoke memory, experience and place.
Based in Brisbane, I was born in Zimbabwe and have worked across the arts industry in South Africa, London and Australia. I hold a DVA in Visual Arts from Griffith University, Brisbane. A former curator, I now divide my time between studio practice, illustration and facilitating creative workshops in schools, libraries and galleries.
