Fiona West

 

Artist and illustrator, passionate about collage and assemblage.

 

Reusing and recycling materials where possible, Fiona creates tactile, playful sculptural objects and illustrations.

​Based in Brisbane, Fiona was born in Zimbabwe and has completed a Doctorate of Visual Arts through Griffith University, Brisbane. After years working in the arts industry in South Africa, London and Australia she began illustrating children's books in 2022. The latest, Hidden, written by Larissa Ferenchuk, illustrated by Fiona and published by EK Books is due for release in June 2025.
